Jack's is on US 27 in Clermont, just beyond the sprawling edges of Orlando. I eat there when I have to go to the Orlando area and need an escape from all the craziness in the city. It's a small place and usually full but not overcrowded. You walk through and order your food then take a seat in the dining room which is lined with a collection of 2000 baseball caps on the ceiling and Florida gator memorabilia on the walls. They have a fairly simple menu, but their chopped pork sandwich always hits the spot. They have very good baked beans, but otherwise the side dishes are so-so. If you want just a simple but good bbq meal stop in here if it's on your way. As they say, "If the chimney aint smokin', we aint open".
